Happy Valentines Day

I hope everyone had a great Valentines day. And with snow the day before what a way to set a scene. Here's some pictures, I took. We also crowned a King & Queen for valentines, congradulations to Alvin & Sue Bowers.

SC Round & Square Dance Convention

Well another year has come and gone. We had a blast at the State Convention held at Springmaid Beach. Fellowship with your friends is always a blessing and alot of fun. Richard & Barbara Walker our new Chairman of the Federation, congradulations to them and I know they have our total support in the work that's ahead of them. I was proud of the Camden Hi-Steppers having 2 squares in attendance. I would like to encourage every one to make plans to attend the next federation

dance that will be held in May.

Me and Darrell would like to wish all of our friends and family at the Camden Hi Steppers a wonderful new year. We hope that the year 2010 will bring blessings and good health to you all.

Thanks to everyone for welcoming us into the family last Jan. 2009. I guess its true, time passes by fast when you are having fun. And we have had a great time, getting to know everyone.

Our prayers are with our friends recovering from illness and with our friends who have lost love ones.

Boykin Christmas Parade

If you missed the big Christmas parade in Boykin you missed out. I could not believe the crowd. I guess they were all there to see our float. It was beautiful. Not to leave out all the dancing that was happening on the float. Just take a look at those pictures. Not everyone could have a float made with this much talent..

Kershaw "Hog Jam"

Saturday, October 10, 2009, the Camden Hi-Steppers was invited to dance at the Kershaw Hog Jam. We had a great time and we would like to thank all the Hi-Steppers who came out and supported our group. We almost had enough for 2 squares, but maybe next time. SC Federation Dance

What a blast!! For those of you who missed the Federation dance in N. Charleston in October missed a great time. There was dancing and food and more dancing. What a great time and thanks to James Island Wheelers for making all of us feel welcome. The new officers were elected for the coming year.
