Jerry Truesdale is back in the Camden hospital, room 316. The doctors are concerned about his blood platelets. His platelets are not increasing like they should. He will be in hospital thru the weekend until he can see a specialist which should be Monday. Please keep him and Crystal in your thoughts and prayers. Also, just as a precaution, the nurses do not want him to have any vistors that might have a cold or has been sick. The reason being that with his platelets being low, his imune system is also low. I will be posting updates as soon as I hear anything new.

SC State convention

Just a reminder, the SC State Square and Round Dance Convention will be Jan. 28th and 29th at Springmaid Beach, SC. If you would like to purchase tickets in advance see Jack and Betty Ramsey on Thursday night. They have tickets to sell. Also, you can make your reservations at the Springmaid Beach resort. To receive the special rate of $61.00 a night you must make your reservations by Dec 20, 2010.

Update

Just to let everyone know, Jerry came home from the hospital late Sunday afternoon. He is improving and doing better, still has a little way to go.

Christmas dance

This is just a reminder that our Christmas dance will be December 16. We look forward to dancing with everyone on this special day.

Sick Hi-steppers

For all of our members who did not know, Jerry Truesdale was admitted to the hospital Friday afternoon. Darrell and myself went to visit him, he appears to be doing good. If he keeps on improving he might get to go home Sunday. I know him and Crystal would appreaciate everyone keeping them in your prayers

By the way he is in the hospital in Camden, room 318.

Also Darlene has been down with pink eye. So lets also remember her and Kenneth in our prayers for a speedy recovery.
