Jerry update

Good News! Jerry has been taken off his antibiotics, and is now allowed visitors. Lets still keep them in our prayers.

Update

Spoke with Crystal, the dr.s have said that is was a seizure and not a stroke that happen to Jerry Sunday morning. According to the dr.s this is a side effect considering all the things his body has been thru in a short period of time. This is good news, he is being his old self again. His plateletts are starting to rise a little. so they are hoping by next week he could have visitors, or if his body keeps doing as well as it is, they can maybe take him off the antibiodics and maybe, just maybe he could go home.

Still no visitors at this time. Which helps Crystal, because if he can rest during the day, so can she.

Will keep everyone posted, lets just keep them all in our prayers.

Jerry update

Heard from Crystal a little white ago. Jerry is not doing good. He had a seizure or a light stroke this morning. They did a ct scan which showed some bleeding outside the brain. It has clotted and the Neuro-surgeon said they would just watch it right now. Don't want to do anything until platelets get to 50,000. Right now they are at 21,000.

He is talking and remembers everything. Right side hs gotten strenth back.

Still only family members can visit.

Will keep everyone updated as I hear.

Jerry update

Just to let everyone know. Jerry is doing good, the fever and chills seem to be gone now. Crystal says he is feeling better. He had what looked like a sunburn on his arms, face, and chest which is another side effect from the chemo. The dr gave him a steroid for the rash because it started itching. But he feels alot better now. Keep the prayers going, they work.

Thursday Night

Jack Ramsey called and square dance for this Thursday night has been cancelled because of the weather. Please everyone be safe on the ice and snow.

Update on Jerry

I know everybody wants the news on Jerry. Jerry received his last bag of chemo on Sat. night. He has ran a fever for the past few nights which the dr. has told them that this is a side effect. Hopefully this will soon end for him. Other than that yesterday was a good day according to Crystal. Lets all just keep them in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anymore news I will send out a update.

Prayer Request

As you know, Jerry Truesdale has been sick and in/out of the hospital. This past week he was admitted to Baptist Hospital in Columbia were they did more test. They have found out the he has a form of Leukemia. What I have been told, is the kind of Leukemia that he has is very treatable. In other words this would be the kind of Leukemia to have. So my request to all of us is please keep him, Crystal, and their family in your prayers. This is a way we can all help them. And I know that they believe in the power of prayer. And I have seen miracles happen with prayer.

So as we all celebrate the incoming new year, lets take time to be thankful for all we are blessed with and to remember our extended family as they go thru this trial, that they are not alone we are here for them.
